WYTC and Belle Vernon members Sam and Sandy Cover have taken on the task of having the railcar at the West Newton Station (GAP MP 114) repaired and repainted. In June Tyler Mucci was contracted to repair and repaint the roof.
Shown in the photo are volunteers Jonathan Wencha and Kenny Roberts painting the sides of the railcar with paint donated by John Lisanti of Lisanti Painting. The results are outstanding. The car looks GREAT! The railcar contains a mini museum of the trail and West Newton history. Anyone interested in touring the railcar should contact wytcnews@hotmail.com for info.
