MEMORIAL PROJECT FOR THE WESTMORELAND YOUGH TRAIL CHAPTER
The WYTC bike trail chapter has completed the building of a memorial consisting of two pavilions across from the West Newton railroad station. The pavilions have benches placed inside. The key aspect will be the project’s floor, a brick memorial funded by those who want to remember a loved one or special event. It will be a place for everyone to pause and reflect on that special person or time in their life. For as little as $100.00, each brick can include the names, statement, and graphic of your choosing. A gift that will honor something meaningful to you and keep on giving through your support of one of best trails in western Pennsylvania.
We continue to take orders
for the memorial bricks!
Cost starts at $100 for a 4X8 inch brick and $200 for a 8X8 inch brick. Clip art and almost any emblem including military, organization, or religious is possible to add for an additional $25.
Contribute non-monetary donations.
The WYTC can continue its great job of train maintenance and improvement only with member support. If you have some specialized piece of equipment that you no longer use or need, please contact the WYTC before discarding it. Donations of services are also welcome. If you have the skills or abilities in welding, fabrication, woodworking, carpentry, mechanical maintenance, etc. and would like to help the WYTC, please contact us at wytcnews@hotmail.com so that we can contact you.
